World MS Day with Hip Hop Yoga

Join us from 11am in the Park for World MS Day on 30 May. Step into the MSWA Sensory Hub and enjoy hand massages, a live DJ, food samples and more experiences to acknowledge World MS Day to connect with people living with MS.


From 5.45pm, enjoy a sunset yoga class with the Queen of Hip Hop Yoga, KAYE WATERHOUSE for a $10 donation. Step onto the mat and up to the speakers, and let your breath and the bass guide you through this soulful experience that nourishes the mind and body. This is yoga for music lovers.

Step Up for MSWA Training: Sports Medicine Series

In support of the Shadforth Financial Group Step Up for MSWA, Perth Integrated Health (PIH) will be holding information sessions focusing on a biomechanical approach to running training. 

• MONDAY 30 APRIL - Understanding Variations in Running Training

• MONDAY 21 MAY - Physiological and Biometric Methods in Walking & Running

• WEDNESDAY 13 JUNE - Preparation for a Run Event

All registered participants will also access discounts provided by Perth Integrated Health and Polar Australia.

Cost: $15 per session with PIH donating all proceeds to MSWA.

Step Up for MSWA Training: Elevated Running Program

The Elevated Running Program is designed to provide you with the proper biomechanical and physiological applications to take on the challenge. The sessions will cover aspects including:

• Understanding elevated running vs flat terrain;

• Development of running style for stairs and elevated terrain;

• Cardio-based methods of training; and

• Breathing techniques.

The course includes registration to the 2018 MSWA Shadforth Financial Group Step Up for MSWA with the Perth Integrated Health team. All registered participants will also access discounts provided by Perth Integrated Health and Polar Australia.

Cost: $98 (INCLUSIVE OF STEP UP REGISTRATION FEE).
