Central Park is fully fire sprinkler protected with both in-ceiling and below ceiling sprinkler heads on all floors. The building is also equipped with an addressable fire detection system (on refurbished floors, existing floors are equipped with conventional fire detection). Central Park is equipped with fire hose reels, hydrants, warden intercommunication phones and fire extinguishers on each floor in the centre core.
Emergency procedures training in the building is arranged by Central Park and is conducted quarterly. Each floor is required to participate in an evacuation exercise annually. To keep disruptions to a minimum, these are normally carried out one rise at a time. An annual program for this training is issued to each tenant co-ordinator at the beginning of the year.
